Introduction

One common question which is everyone’s favorite have you ever visited any country?. Some people may say they have visited Germany, Italy, Japan, Argentina etc. I am pretty sure that you must have noticed that their language will be different from the one you speak. Some of these popular languages are german, Italian, Japanese etc. Today I will talk about one of the languages which are very popular in the world, which is french. French is being spoken in France, Belgium, Canada, etc. The French language follows CEFR rules. Under CEFR, you can officially validate your proficiency in that foreign language that you have acquired. 

In CEFR, there are six levels and these levels are A1 and A2 which are basic, B1 and B2 which are intermediate, and C1 and C2 which are advanced. A1 is the most basic level and C2 is the most advanced level. Whatever level you think you are very close to, you can give an exam, provided you have sufficient knowledge. Please note that the french exams in India are conducted by Alliance Francaise.

Let me ask one of the most important questions from everyone according to you: is it useful to learn the French language in India?. Well, in this blog, I will try to answer this question:

1. Destination in french speaking countries: Most of us are looking for a job in french speaking countries. As per them, they want to work there and earn good money. But before you apply in french speaking countries, please have knowledge of the French language so it enables you to get a job there. When you have a knowledge of the French language, then there are chances that you may get some added advantage which will help you in providing other perks or advantages as well.
2. DELF/DALF exam: These exams are to check your proficiency in this language and you can also say that you are an expert in this level which has been provided above. A1, A2, B1, and B2 are called DELF while C1 and C2 are known as DALF. Alliance Francaise conducts these exams. The main advantage of having these certificates that they remain valid for your entire life. You can officially validate your proficiency in the French language. Also, these certificates will help you in providing a job as a trainer or teacher in any institute. Also, these exam certificates will help you in proving your admission to a French university in France.
3. TEF/TCF: These exams are conducted by Alliance Francaise. The main objective of these exams is although they are valid for 2 years, these exams will help you a lot if you are looking to study or looking for residency in France and Canada.
4. Can take the role of travel advisor: So many people come to India from french speaking countries to visit museums, castles etc. When you know the French language, then you can talk to them in the French language and in fact you can earn a good amount of money provided you provide ethical services to them.
