As a Korean language aspirant, who wishes to clear the B2 level, I suggest you read the following carefully to understand the know-how to learn Korean at the B2 level and certify successfully in it.
The Korean language is spoken in both, the North and the South Koreas with differences in their vocabulary, pronunciation and grammatical rules due to their long standoff with each other that has lasted years now. Although the Korean language has existed for a thousand years in Korea, it has not been official in the 15th century until its alphabet (called hangul). Prior to this, Chinese characters were used in written Korean. Korean is the SOV language which means that it is the verb that always comes after the object and is the last element of the sentence.
Let’s now see how you can complete your B-2 level Korean certification in India.
If you have chosen Korean as the foreign language of your choice, then you must have chosen it with certain objectives in mind. Most of the foreign languages that I learnt from quite a large demographic of the population such as French and Spanish and German provide many perks to students that master. This does not mean that other languages like Korean or Chinese have no perks of learning them. In my opinion, as the Asian languages tend to be rather tougher to master, they tend to be way more beneficial than learning any European language. With that said, all languages are divided into different levels based on mastering those skills from my basic level to the most proficient level according to the CEFR rules. This means that you can attempt a test to complete each level separately.
So how do you complete B-2 level: certification in India?
The best B-2 level certification in India is the TOPIK examination. It is just a general Korean test for anybody who wishes to immigrate or at least work for a long time in Korea. On the other hand, EPS TOPIK Is another test that is Known as the employment permit system test of proficiency in Korean. This is a mandatory test for those who wish to work in Korea as EPS workers or more commonly known as factory jobs or manufacturing industry workers. The EPSTOPIK is only conducted once a year in 16 different countries and will limit the age gap to between 18 to 39. With that said there are no test centres for this examination in India. Therefore, most Indians cannot avail of this certification.
Worry not as there is another certification that comes to the rescue for most of these people. This is known as a KLPT examination. This is a pretty well-known examination that provides the student with a set of questions and all the scores that they achieve essentially determines the end level or the grade that they belong to.
There are a total of four levels, the first level being KLAT novice or beginner. The second being the B-KLAT, Which is from grade 1 to 2 next we have the KLAT intermediate which is from grade 3 to 4 and finally, we have KLAT advance which is from great 5 to 6. You can attempt this examination to complete your B-2 level Korean certifications in India.

Although some linguists suggested that Korean belongs to the “Altai” language group and is therefore associated with languages such as Turkish and Finnish, this theory is largely disregarded. Rather, Korean is commonly referred to as a language isolate, because no significant relevant association is found with any other language as of today. Korea has a totally different grammar from Chinese even though it uses Chinese words extensively., upto 60 per cent due to their historical connection. Only about 35% of words in the Korean language are Korean, and 5% are loanwords taken from several other languages.
