The Certificato di Conoscenza Della Lingua Italiana is an official Italian proficiency test, backed by the Italian Ministry of foreign affairs and the Ministry of education universities and research or more commonly known as MIUR. In order to achieve a CELI certificate, you must pass all the appropriate audit procedures involved. This certificate is issued by ALTE or more commonly referred to as the Association of language testers in Europe. This test is also recognised globally and is accepted as proof of your Italian language proficiency by private and public educational institutions, Chambers of commerce and multiple MNCs.
