Hima Das, India’s first ever gold medalist in a track event at the World Jr Athletics Championships, had to face disqualification from the 200m semi-final race at the Asian Games 2018 following a false start. Hima, who earlier won a silver in the women’s 400m ,was disqualified for stepping out of the blocks before the sound of the gun.
