“Lata, Latey, Lataah, recognise?” Sanskrit is an old language and a mandatory school subject. Some learners are too afraid because Sanskrit requires more effort to teach them the concepts and to learn from the heart. Here are some tips for making Sanskrit enjoyable for children at Home:
Many people believe that learning Sanskrit is extremely difficult. This is largely due to insufficient teaching, which has much to do with the mistaken assumption that it is not a spoken language.
Learning Sanskrit, in my opinion, and experience, is not always difficult; on the contrary, it can be simple and enjoyable. Of course, some people can struggle to learn a language that is not their native tongue. It all depends on a variety of factors such as individual learning capacity, age, and so on.
Tips to learn Sanskrit:
Every day, free up 10 minutes for learning
Take out your planner and set aside at least 10 minutes per day to memorize what you’ve learned. Then, when the time comes, go through each word aloud to improve your Sanskrit language. To ensure that the words remain in your head, scribble them down on post-its and stick them around your house or at your workplace to see and remember.
Don’t Overburden Your Brain
When you get into a study rhythm, it can be tempting to do multiple language lessons back-to-back. Or maybe you believe you should study for two hours a day because that is how you studied at university. Unfortunately, this method of “binge learning” is ineffective.
Slowing down you’re learning so that you can better commit vocabulary to your long-term memory is the secret to success. Studying for 15 minutes a day is the most successful way to develop your conversational skills.
Listen Up!!
Listening to sacred people speaking the old Sanskrit language is a perfect way to learn it. If you don’t know a basic of the language you’re studying, listen to the radio or listen to various audios and television as a replacement. Genuinely think, you’ll start picking up words and phrases without even realizing it!
Move outside of your comfort zone
It is acceptable to make mistakes! It’s also a perfect way to hone and improve your language skills. And bear in mind that we all have an accent. The more you talk, the better your learning will improve. So be bold, get out of your comfort zone, and dive in, Sanskrit is not a complicated subject, you just need to practice doing it fluently.
Engage in a language exchange
Having a conversation with a native speaker is a fantastic way to improve your ‘language skill.’ Multi-bhashi makes this easier with our language exchange, which helps you to find a native speaker of the language you’re learning and gain input from them. Friend as many people as possible to get a range of answers! or  Then, if you’re feeling especially bold, why not find a conversation companion or teacher who is also learning your native language or can teach you the Sanskrit Language. Even one hour of talk a week would do wonders for you!
