4. Try to learn some of the major exceptions. Russian has SO MANY exceptions and there is a real pain if I’m being honest. It’s not necessary to learn all of them but try to learn some of them. Use it in a natural setting. If there is a Russian group or groups in your city, try to join them if you can’t travel to Russia or a Russian-speaking country. Alternatives include finding a volunteer or work position with Russian or making a friend in person or online.
