How difficult is the A1 level of Spanish for an Indian?
A1 is the basic level or the starting point of learning the Spanish language. It is considered the toughest yet easiest stage of learning any language. You may ask,” why is it the toughest yet the easiest?”. The answer to the former is you are about to start a totally different language from your mother tongue. There will be a lot more work than common learning process as you will be introduced to the new alphabets and new sounds that you never heard of or you are not familiar with and the answer to the latter is that learning the alphabets is much easier than learning the complex grammar and vocabularies. Agree?

The language is spoken in Spain and other parts of Europe and it is the descendant of the Latin and the national language of Spain. Hope you know this much, right? Spanish or Espanol is spoken widely in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, the USA, Argentina, Cuba, etc. It is a Romance language that originated in the Iberian Peninsula of Europe and it has approximately about 500 million speakers. It is the second most spoken language in the world after the mandarin Chinese.
LEVELS OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE
The level of learning the Spanish language is divided into six parts,i.e A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, where A1 is the initial starting level whereas C2 is the proficiency or expert level.
A1 is the basic or the initial level of the learning process, where you are introduced to the alphabets and the sound that the letters produce, simple sentence structures or the everyday phrases and expressions. This level is for learners who do not have any prior knowledge about the language. At this level the students will learn how to introduce themselves, ask for directions, to count time or other countable numbers as well. At the end of this level, learners will be able to understand the simple questions that we used to communicate on a daily basis.
