Korean is spoken by about 77 million people which is the official language of both North Korea and South Korea. It is considered to be an easy language to learn when compared to other foreign languages.

When compared to the people who speak languages such as English or French or Arabic, Indians might have an advantage in learning Korean easily. Koreans actually have a lot of things in common in terms of sentence structure, grammar etc.

The sentence structure of Korean, Hindi and most other Indian languages is the same and this is not the same in the case of English. Particles that are used in both Hindi and Korean are the same. Like- मे is a particle in Hindi, 에 is a particle in Korean. Pronunciation is much easier for Indians than English speakers as Sanskrit is considered the mother of languages. Korean languages have honorifics and different words for showing respect whereas English does not have it. when talking to elders we use to show respect, similarly, Koreans have it. Simply, you can make things easier by working hard in learning but you need to work hard.
Korean is easier to learn for Indians since Hindi is so similar in terms of Grammar structure and pronunciations of words. You can form Korean sentences with so much ease just because they can translate sentences in the SOV pattern which is there in Hindi too. With your further learning, u will understand many more similarities between the languages.
Start to learn with the small and catchy words and then start learning alphabets that will be easy to you. Have a diary with you and note down the words and start to read it. Watching Korean shows and dramas will help you to improve your pronunciation, read Korean phrases when it comes on screen and it’s really helpful.
