So, what are your options?
It is important to understand for any student that learning a language requires you to master four important skills. The first is reading skills, the second is listening skills, the third is writing skills and finally speaking skills.
A decent amount of fluency in all for the skills is essentially what constitutes proficiency in the entire language. A student is expected to be able to master all four skills separately and along with one another in order to be able to achieve proficiency in the target language.
With that said, it isn’t uncommon for students to be able to master a few of the skills but not be able to master the rest of the skills. It simply means you happen to concentrate on a few skills and happen to neglect the others.

Keeping this in mind, we can now gauge as to why you can understand Bangla but can’t seem to speak it very well. It simply because you paid more attention to the reading, listening and writing skills of the language but happened to neglect the speaking skills.
Either you found the speaking skills too easy or it was just way too difficult. Nevertheless, you aren’t alone. Speaking skills are one of those practical skills that cannot be mastered without actually utilising them in real life.
What this means is that many students tend to find it rather difficult to master the skill as many factors affect the practice of the skill. But that doesn’t mean that there is absolutely no way to master the skill. In fact, if you happen to have mastered the listening and reading skills, then you actually find it pretty easy to master speaking skills.

So how do you master speaking skills?
There are multiple different ways in which you can master speaking skills, the most common way of mastering it is simply by speaking to yourself. Don’t worry, it’s not a crazy tactic. It’s one that is utilised by students all around the globe learning different languages including Bangla.
Practise is the best method that will help you not only master the language but also build confidence to be able to speak to others in the same language. In fact, if you have been reading and listening very carefully, then you already have a good grasp of your sentence formation as well as vocabulary, which would make your life much easier while practising speaking skills.
