Google Chrome’s Language immersion:
What better way to learn a language than Immersion? So utilize this handy immersion tool that will convert your online world to the Chinese language. This language immersion tool allows the learners to select the level of their learning and their chosen language. Based on this, it will slowly change a little bit of the name of your websites and content before gradually increasing. The good news: you can actually see the meaning of these Chinese words by just clicking on them. So it won’t cause you any problem.
Recall when we were little and we used to record 10 new difficult words every day so as to enhance our vocabulary? Well, you can do the same when you’re learning a new language. Record ten new Chinese words in a little notebook every day. But there’s a twist. Don’t record the difficult words. First, record the more easy ones, the ones that are used mainly in daily conversation, and later on, when you have a grasp on it you can start recording the difficult words.
Maybe the school system is onto something? In schools, we are given tests to assess our level of knowledge. But have you seen a student when he has a test tomorrow? He will be studying crazily. Now, this aspect of the test is something that we can use while learning a language. Giving yourself tests on a regular basis will motivate you to study and prevent you from slacking off. The test can be as simple as, to write one whole sentence in Chinese. The key is to make the test not too difficult nor too easy. It should be something that we can do but gives our mind a little bit of stretch.

Study while you are on the move:
When we are traveling, whether it be to our office, school, shopping complex, or even a medical store, we have lots of time that we can dedicate to learning Chinese. So, listen to some Chinese podcasts, audio, or Chinese news. Hell, you can even sing along to a Chinese song. And if you are not the one driving, then you can even watch Chinese movies and t.v. serials. So, my advice: Don’t waste your precious time and learn Chinese!
Okay, truth time! How much time do you spend on social media? 1, 2, or maybe even 5 hours?! We all have to agree that social media is a big part of our lives and we can utilize it to learn Chinese! Just follow some Chinese teaching profiles with quality content and the next time you are just swiping, you will come across it and you will learn something new every day.
