Often we hear people encouraging group study.

It is for a reason.

Learning something in groups with the presence of our dear friends helps in easing the learning process. The reason is that we all love our friends, and discussing and learning with them keeps our interest lively.

Even when you know only a few basics, just start conversing with your friends. Only your dedicated attempt will help you master the language.

Whenever you are listening to a lecture or having a discussion with your group, note down the important things, new words, or any such tips. 

Do not shy away from speaking even if you may not be right.

Try to ask questions to your trainer, make a list of questions, do not keep a doubt to yourself. Discuss things with your friends, ask for their reviews, learn from them.

Initially, you may find it difficult, but slowly dedicate more time to practice. Revise whatever you have learned in the previous discussions or training. This will ensure you do not forget what you have learned but instead, you enhance your skill.

Teach whatever you know. Be one step ahead, so in the discussions with your friends, you can be the one leading and sharing and teach them something new. It will require efforts but will make you an expert. Yes, believe me teaching something makes you an expert at it.

Amidst your busy schedule, you have set aside some time to learn Spanish. Make sure you have your full focus at that time and you utilize it to the fullest.

There must be some words in Spanish that will relate to English or your language. This will help you learn Spanish easily. Learning should not be hard but smart.

Try standing in front of your camera, switch on the video, and speak, teach and converse with yourself. Looking back at your video will help you correct your own pronunciation and boost your confidence.

Even if you have no one to give you an assignment, still give yourself homework and do it. Keep a record of those assignments in the form of a file.

Fix a plan and follow it. This is the secret to great success.

No matter which language it is, we HAVE to start with the basics! If the base is strong, the foundation would automatically be stronger, right? So let’s try to master the basics of the language today.

I will list down a few common Spanish basics with their English conversions as well.

We will divide these tips into tasks so that it is easier for your kids to learn them systematically. 

Task 1: To greet somebody in Spanish.

1. Informally.

Hola – Hello

2. Formally

Buenos Dias – Good Morning

Buenas noches  – Good Evening

Buena Tarde – Good Afternoon

Now, how about asking their well-being? It is as important as a greeting. So we cover this in Task 1.

 ¿Cómo está usted?-How are you?

Cuidate- Take care

 Also, it is good manners to thank the person who has asked about you. Right? So here we go.

Gracias – Thank you

And say welcome when that person has thanked you.

Bienvenidos- Welcome

And then bidding goodbye…

Chao – Goodbye

Que tenga un buen dia – Have a good day-

Hasta mañana-See you tomorrow

Hasta luego-See you later

These were some of the basic greetings we use when we meet someone. The construction of the Spanish language is similar to English. These are the first set of words that kids must learn. Climb the ladder one step at a time. Once you know how to greet somebody you have met, it’s the first win. Hurray! Should I also tell you how to say hurrah in Spanish? Yes, I know you want to know. So,

Okay, so we have completed task 1. Now it’s time for task 2. We go one step higher here. As it could be that when the person has asked how you are, and you are not well. Or if the person is not well. So here comes a twist we have to be ready for.

Now our task 3 would cover the ‘golden words’. Do you know what are these golden words? Find it out in task 3.

They are called golden words for a reason. We all should use these golden words.
