6. Both languages follow the same grammatical rules: For English language persons, if you are looking to learn german then you would find the similarity in the german language as well. The English word changes based on tenses like a drink to drank but in german they use the same three tenses like trinkt etc.
7. German and English use Arabic numbering systems: Both the languages use the same Arabic numerals and numbering as well. For example, in English we say one, two, three, four, etc while in german language we use zehn, elf, zwoelf etc.
