Find out an appropriate tutor:
You need to find an appropriate tutor who will be guiding you throughout the whole process of learning Kannada. And this will make your journey a lot easier.
Start with Vocabulary:
Learn a lot of new words. But remember not to simply memorize them without understanding. When you are learning new vocabulary, try to understand them. This will help you to learn the language faster. You can also use color-coded sticky notes to learn the gender of each noun. After learning the vocabulary you need to construct sentences with those. The easy way to do this is, whenever you learn a new word you use it in at least ten different sentences. This will help you to use these words instantly whenever required.

Find someone who is learning Kannada or a native Kannada speaker and converse with them in Kannada. You can even create a conversation with yourself. You can think of any situation in Kannada and practice role-play by yourself.
