Introduction:

School life is the best part of a person’s life. It is that time when children enjoy learning the most. School is the place where children can explore, experiment, and learn by themselves. They also make friends and other social and personal connections. It is the place where they are free from any tension. It is the time of their life when their brain is developing and learning many new things. At this time if they are introduced to arts and music, they can learn the basics easily and on the other hand, they can relax from the tension and burden of studies too. So whenever I go to give a live music session in any school, I find children enjoying, learning at the fastest pace. Many times I think that it should be compulsory in every school to give art and music classes to the children so that they relieve the stress of studies and can enjoy their learning. Arts and music not only give enjoyment but also stress relief and new ideas. Arts and music let children explore new horizons in the future and they can become popular sensations in the future. They explore culture and society, history and romance in music.

In fact, in many kinds of research, it is revealed that the arts and music classes have an importance during school hours. Let us discuss some of them:

• Stress relief:

The melodious vibrations of music and the creativity involved in arts help to activate the brain cells. This helps in relieving stress and boredom generated during studies.

• Build confidence:

Arts and music involve practice. Practice makes a man perfect and therefore the practice removes hesitation and builds confidence.

Arts and music pose different challenges to students. To face challenges students explore new ways which ultimately improve the creativity of the students.

Arts and music sessions are taken in school open new opportunities for students who have a great attraction towards the arts and music industries. The basic lessons taken during the school years help them learn advanced and creative practices.

• Incorporate discipline:

If a student is interested in arts or music then he or she e should practice it. Practice requires both dedication and time. This can only happen when the student practice discipline. So these activities instill discipline in the student.

• Physical improvement:

Many studies show that children can improve their fine motor skills, agility, and hand-eye coordination through arts and crafts.

Many students do their math while listening to music which shows that music removes boredom and increases concentration.

Arts and music basically involve society. To develop arts and crafts skills a person needs appreciation and guidance which can only be achieved from society. So arts and music make students social. They learn required etiquette and manners while talking to people.

Music and arts also help those students who cannot express themselves easily. They find a way to express themselves through music and creativity.

So arts and music have many more benefits and I think it is important to incorporate arts and music in the school activities.
